Autumn 2024 Issue

a little bit creepy and a little bit cosy…

When we write, we embody someone else and explore another country or world. And through reading, we transport ourselves into another person in another place. All the stories in this issue do this. Having grown up in a haunted house (a story for another foreword), I have always been obsessed with the paranormal and ghosts. This is, of course, the most subjective genre, with so many perspectives to be considered. I do always think we should probably take the ghost’s perspective into account more than we do. Most of these ghosts are just going about their afterlife and keep getting screamed at by humans, who are often, let’s face it, way more terrifying than ghosts.
