The stories of this issue have a darkness to them, which is perhaps unsurprising as the world seems to be on a precipice. Or maybe we are already falling; I’m not sure. So, the need to
explore your inner fears is cathartic to us forest dwellers. Finding a sense of control amid the chaos by exploring the end of the world. Examining the face you see in the mirror versus the one everyone else sees. The need to wade into waters deep and consuming. Anger at betrayal; the need to destroy but also rebuild.
